What's this now?
Due to bandwidth issues, cost of hosting and cost of getting all the resources for Kokoro no Naka, as well as the drain of handling requests, I created the Goodies program.
How it works is simple: You donate to Kokoro no Naka, you get a username and password that gives you access to extras on Kokoro no Naka.
Yep. Mp3s, video clips, ep previews, audio clips, full sized images (both scans and caps), images that aren't 'released' to the main page yet, previews of sections still in progress, and other things.
Multiple ways. Easiest and fastest is VIA PayPal. Even if you never use PayPal again, you get $5 for signing up. Once you're signed up, use the button below to donate:
If you don't have a way to sign up for PayPal or don't want to, there's always sending through the mail, which is slow and iffy, but do-able.
And if you have no way to do either, you can email me and we can figure something out.
But I only want one [mp3/image/ect]!
Then email and I'll send it to you. The Goodies program is mostly for those who want more then one thing. I'll still be processing small requests for images [like, 2-3 images] but any larger orders I will refer you to this program, for sake my sanity as well as my wallet. Just please note that I cannot send video clips via Email, so this only applies to smaller files under 3meg
But why do you NEED donations?!
A lot of time, effort and money goes into
Kokoro no Naka. The webspace alone costs around $17 a month, being the
page is so large it spans two servers and it's still having bandwidth troubles
due to people abusing it. I put in an average of 2-4 hours a day
working on the site, trying to get it to be the best I can and processing
requests from people for images or information. Capping and processing
a single episode can take up to five hours [as was the case for ep 200]
It's a lot of work and a lot of responsibility. I also figure that by password
protecting things like the mp3s, a lot of the bandwidth troubles KnN's
been having will do down drastically, and maybe if enough people sign up
for this program, I can get some more First Series stuff up and get more
resources for the page.
What are you planning on taking down for this space?
Mp3s, probably video clips and music videos
and maybe some of the larger audio clips.
How much do you want people to donate?
It depends on how much you want.
I've decided to put it on a time membership for the time being. $5 for
a month, $10 for 3 months, $20 for 6 months, $30 for a year, and $40 and
up for lifetime membership. Donations are cumliative so donating small
amounts over time counts the same as donating one lump sum. Any donation
at all is appreciated but because of fees paypal take out, sending amounts
smaller then $5 tends to be not worth it.
I've sent my donation, now what?
with the user name and password you'd like [please include the name and
email you used to donate so it's easier for me to figure out who you are]
and I will set up your account.
Where do I go once I have my account?
The Goodies DIR, where are the clips and
full sized images and extras are, is at: http://www.kokorononaka.net/Goodies/
